The owner and operator has been an Early Childhood Educator and advocate for over 15 years, studying Human Development and Family Sciences with an Emphasis in Early Childhood Development and Education at Oregon State University.
After spending much of her time as a classroom teacher at both De Anza Community College Lab School Child Development Program and as a Teacher and Operations Coordinator at the Google Children’s Center, she pursued her Master’s Degree in Teaching and Education from Concordia University.
Throughout her time as an Early Childhood Educator, she has witnessed the great disparity in quality early childhood programs and availability offered to different demographics. Her desire is to provide high quality relational care and learning experiences for ALL children. With this aspect in mind, Play-space Early Learning Center is a approved DHS provider.
